To Breeze(way) or not To Breeze(way)
To breeze(way) or not to breeze(way); that is the question. Or, it’s at least a discussion we have when people are considering our shelters.
So, what is the breezeway feature on our shelters? Great question! Simply put; the top section of the rear of the shelter opens up to allow air to flow through the shelter. For those of you who grew up with out air conditioning; remember when your parents opened up windows on opposite sides of the house to allow that amazing breeze to blow through? Remember how awesome that felt when it was warm in the house? Well, our breezeway feature is the same thing for your horses! Your horses can go into the shelter to get out of the sun and cool off as the breeze blows through. Honestly, it feels 10-20 degrees coolers in there.
For those of you who still aren’t believers; have you ever gone into a garden shed or gotten into a car on a hot summer day? It’s hot as hell, right!?!? Well, that’s exactly what happens inside your shelter when the breeze can’t blow through. It becomes an oven. No one wants that for their horse.
All of that is great and all but, what about the winter time? I don’t want a frozen horse. Ha, I read your mind; didn’t I? The breezeway easily closes and locks for the cold weather months.
Here’s the coolest part; the breezeway is a standard feature on every one of our shelters!
As always, please let us know what questions you have. Thanks for reading!
